Q1. When does the admission for new students begin?

The admission for new students starts around January. However, the detailed admission schedule may vary each year, so please refer to the CEMS Global MIM Admissions page on the website for more information.

Q2. Is it possible to work while studying?

Since the program is a full-time course, classes are held on weekdays from 8:30 AM to 9:50 PM (subject to change), making it impossible to balance work and studies.

Q3. What are the recognized official English proficiency tests?

TOEFL iBT 100, IELTS 7.0, CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) B, BEC Higher B, or CPE C; Pass one of the in-house English exams; Obtain an A-level GCSE issued in Singapore.-If you have obtained a bachelor’s degree from an English-speaking university, you are exempt from submitting English test scores.

Q4. Is there any additional point for submitting language proficiency test scores other than English?

There are no additional points, but the scores may be considered as reference information.

The semester starts in mid-August each year.

Q6. What is the intake capacity?

The intake capacity varies each year, but it is typically around 20 students.

Q7. What is the proportion of courses taught in English during the program?

100% of the courses are taught in English.

Q8. What degree will be awarded?

The degree awarded will be the KUBS Global MIM (Master in Management) degree, along with the CEMS MIM (Master in International Management) certificate.

Q9. How does the scholarship system work?

You must submit a scholarship application along with your documents, and the scholarship will be allocated upon admission.

Q10. Can I apply for a student loan?

Student loans are available only for Korean nationals. You can apply for student loans through the Korea Student Aid Foundation (http://www.kosaf.go.kr, 1599-2000).

Q11. What are the graduation requirements?

For the Global MIM degree, you must complete
-a minimum of 45 credits including all required courses (Global MIM Required)
-maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
-8 weeks of International Internship

Q12. Can I pursue a Ph.D. after graduation?

Yes, upon graduation, you will receive a Master’s degree in Management (MIM), which allows you to pursue a Ph.D. program.

Q13. What are the career prospects and employment rates after graduation?
-
Korea University Business School (KUBS) operates a dedicated department for career development, the KUBS Career Development Center. For more detailed information, please contact the center at (02-3290-1387). Graduates of the Global MIM program have been employed in various fields, including large domestic and international companies, foreign firms, and the financial sector.

Q14. What is the tuition fee?

For the 2025 Spring semester, the tuition fee for the Global MIM program is 23,210,000 KRW per semester.

Q15. What preparation do I need to make before applying for the program?
-
English proficiency should be high. This does not necessarily mean you have to acquire a high English proficiency score, but you do need to be able to fluently communicate in English. In addition, if you did not study business administration as an undergraduate, it is recommended that you prepare for the Excel, statistics, and accounting courses.
