Global MBA FAQ

Q1. When does the program recruit new entrants?
There are 3 rounds of Global MBA admission. The 1st round will begin in January, the 2nd round will begin in February and the 3rd round will begin in March. The admission schedule is subject to change each year. Please check our website for the updated schedule.
Q2. I have no career background. Am I eligible to apply?
In principle, applicants with professional careers lasting at least two years are preferred. However, this is merely a recommendation and is not mandatory. The Global MBA ultimately selects new entrants based on numerous factors in addition to their current career status.
Q3. Can I attend the program while working?
The Global MBA is a day program with classes on weekdays from 10:00-19:00. Therefore, it is not possible for students to attend the program while still working.
Q4. Is the military service period recognized as a career?
The military service period (or that of a substitute service) is recognized as a career.
Q5. What English tests are accepted?
All certified English tests, including TOEIC, TOEFL, GMAT, and TEPS, are recognized. However, a demonstration of actual English proficiency in the application interview is more valued. We offer students English classes according to their level after entrance. Therefore, students who perform highly in other areas can improve their English proficiency during the program.
Q6. Is there any disadvantage if an English test score is not submitted?
A certified English test score is mandatory, so applicants should submit an English proficiency test certificate that is valid as of the submission date. If a certificate is not ready by the submission date, it needs to be submitted afterward. There is no required minimum English score, but it is used as one of the selection criteria for new admissions. However, applications who have a Bachelor’s degree or higher from an English-speaking country are not required to submit the English proficiency test score.
Q7. Is there any advantage in submitting language proficiency test certificates?
No extra points are gained in terms of selection criteria, but they can be used as a reference.
