Special Eligibility

The Administration Office in the Korea University Graduate School is responsible for general tasks related to admissions and admissions schedule (TEL: 02-3290-1354, 1358).
Please make all of your inquires related to admissions to the KU Administration Office.

Changes since 2012

  • Business Management, Marketing, Finance, and Accounting Majors will only be selected for the Spring semester.
  • An official language test score (TOEFL, TEPS, IELTS, TOEIC) is required.
    - Those who graduated from universities (or graduate schools) of English-speaking countries are exempted.
  • Applicants who apply for the MS/Ph.D. integrated program should submit a Letter of Recommendation that indicates the academic/research capacities and any performance related to the major.
    - The Letter of Recommendation guidelines is changed from 2019.

Application Fill out the online application, print it out and submit it after attaching with a photo. You can print out the application from the original application page.

Research Plan Follow the provided template

※ Must be within two years from the date of application.
Integrated MS/Ph.D. Program Letter of Recommendation Must include the applicant’s academic/research capacities and related performance
Only for Ph.D. Program applicants Overview of MS thesis follow the provided template. If the applicant does not have a thesis, he or she must explain the reason in a written document.
  • Template: For templates on Research plan, Overview of MS Thesis, Agreement to Release of Information Authorization (English), Release of Information Authorization, refer to [Graduate School Website “Academics” > “Various Templates”]
  • Applicants who graduated from overseas university must submit an official transcript and certificate of graduation in English or in Korean that has been officially translated. In addition, the applicant must submit an Agreement to Release of Information Authorization and Release of Information Authorization in accordance with the provided template to find the records from the applicant’s universities.
