1. Concentration Track

A. Definition

“Concentration Track” refers to a certified educational program operated by the Korea University Business School. It is a system designed to help students systematically develop expertise and competence in specific areas of interest by selecting and completing related courses in business administration or other disciplines.

2. The Characteristics of the Concentration Track

A. Expertise : Enhance professional knowledge by focusing on specific areas of interest in business.

B. Systematic Learning : Strengthen practical competencies related to future career paths through a structured academic plan

C. Official Certification : Officially verify academic achievement and major-related competency through a completion certificate

3. Concentration Track Application and Completion Certification

A. Eligibility for Application

  • Students majoring in Business Administration as their first major (including students from the Division of Interdisciplinary Studies) or those pursuing Business Administration as an intensive, double, or dual major.
  • Multiple concentration tracks may be completed concurrently.

B. Procedure for Concentration Track Application and Completion Certification

Track Selection
Select a concentration track of interest
(e.g., Entrepreneurship and Innovation / Business Analytics, etc.)
Course Completion
Complete the approved courses under the selected track and earn a minimum of 18 credits
Submission Of Application Documents
After confirming grades in the final semester before graduation, submit the required documents to the administrative office within the designated period
Certificate Issuance
Students who meet the completion requirements will be issued a “Concentration Track Completion Certificate”

4. Requirements for completion certification

  • 1. Student must meet the minimum number of credits required for each track.

    - ENTREPRENEURIAL MINDSET(BUSS165), SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP(BUSS409) can be counted both the ‘Entrepreneurship and Innovation’ track and ‘Social Value and Sustainability in Business’ track.

  • 2. Student must meet the detailed certification requirements for each track.
