Eligibility

  • Among those who have earned a bachelor’s degree or who are expected to earn a bachelor’s degree by August 2024 from Korea or overseas, ①one who majored in business, management, economy or related fields or ②one who earned 40 credits or 60 ECTS(European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) or more in business, management, economy or related fields
  • One who is proficient in English (see the required documents)
  • One who is eligible for overseas travel or residence
  • One who has no work experience or was employed for less than 2 years (recommended)
  • One who is eligible to apply for international admission track (non-quota) under one or more of the following conditions:
    • 1) Pure foreigner: when both the applicant and his/her parents are foreign nationals (one with dual nationality including the Republic of Korea, is ineligible for international admission track)
    • 2) One who completed the entire curriculum overseas: when the applicant is a citizen of the Republic of Korea but has completed a regular curriculum equivalent to elementary, middle, and higher education(16 years including university)

Note

  • All the documents must be submitted in their original copies.
  • Documentary evidence must be submitted for all academic background, career, and award details in the application form.
  • Once the application form is submitted, the written details cannot be corrected anymore, and the submitted documents and the application fee will not be returned.
  • Once false entries in the application form or facts of applying with other means of cheating are found, admission will be canceled.

  • Application fee of KRW 100,000 (can be paid by credit card(Visa, Master, JCB only), wire transfer, virtual account number)
  • Part of the application fee (KRW 30,000) is refunded upon failure to pass the document screening
  • However, the application fee cannot be refunded for an applicant who forgoes application after paying the application fee or an interviewee who fails to attend the interview

(Expected) Graduation Certificate(s)
  • (Expected) graduates from overseas: all the graduation certificates must be authenticated with apostille or must be confirmed by the Korean consulate in the country where the school he/she graduated from (or consulate in Korea)
  • Graduates from universities in China can also submit graduation certificates authenticated with apostille. (Beginning Nov. 7th 2023, the Apostille Convention came into effect in mainland China. Upon effectiveness, China replaced legalization process for cross border documents with the apostille certification method under the Convention.)
Transcript
  • (Expected) graduates from overseas including China: English transcript or notarized transcript in Korean
  • If the grade evaluation standards of overseas universities are different from the Korean universities’ credit system(GPA 4.0 or 4.5), submit evidentiary materials showing grade calculation
Recommendation Letter
  • There is no limit on its length, but make sure to specify ① the contact information of the recommender, ② relationship with the applicant, ③ signature, and ④ the reason for recommendation
  • If a recommendation letter is submitted by an applicant, it must be signed and sealed by a recommender. Otherwise, recommenders should directly send it via e-mail (mba_admissions@korea.ac.kr)

English Proficiency Certificate
  • Select one of the following: ①TOEFL iBT 100 ②IELTS 7.0 ③CAE(Certificate in Advanced English) B ④CPE C ⑤BEC Higher B ⑥A-level GCSE issued in Singapore ⑦Pearson test of English Academic (PTE) 68
  • Expired test scores will not be accepted
  • However, exemption will apply to those who have earned a bachelor’s degree or higher in a CEMS member school or an EQUIS/AACSB accredited school
  • Or exemptions can apply to those who have earned degree or higher in a university (or graduate school) in the following countries:

  • Bank statement submission
  • 1) Purpose: A bank statement is required to issue the D-2 student visa according to the Ministry of Law, Republic of Korea.
  • 2) Subject: Final successful candidates with foreign nationalities
  • 3) Details:
    • a. The statement must be issued by a Korean or overseas bank, showing a minimum balance of USD 20,000 or equivalent.
    • b. The statement must be in English and include ① name of the holder, ② balance, ③ currency used, ④ issuance date, and ⑤ validity period (if applicable).
    • c. The statement must be submitted by July 20, 2024 upon payment of the tuition fee.
    • d. The statement must meet one of the following requirements:
      • ① The statement without a validity period must be issued between July 1 and July 20, 2024.
      • ② The statement with a validity period must remain valid, not exceeding 6 months from the issuance date, both at the time of submission and by the time of the visa application.
    • e. The bank account of the statement must be possessed by the successful candidate or his/her parents.
    • f. For a bank account under one of the parents, a copy of the ‘family relation certificate’ or any other official documents that prove the relations in English are also required.
    • g. For a scholarship recipient, the minimum balance must be the difference between USD 20,000 and scholarship benefits.
  • 4) Note: Additional requirements may apply for certain nationalities, and individuals falling into this category will be contacted for further details.
