  2023-2 CREDIT WITHDRAWAL REQUEST   1. Eligibility a. KU student who has earned 102(106) or more credits and registered 7 or more regular semesters. b. Transfer student with a BA degree, should be classified as 4th year student. c. Student in senior year pursuing dual degree is not eligible.   2. Key Points a. Maximum 6 credits can be applied. b. Credit withdrawal is allowed only once during the entire school years. c. This is to inform about the KUBS TNT (Tutor & Tutee) Program, designed for undergraduate students.     Recognizing that many students engage in part-time tutoring outside of school, we have established this program to enable students to provide academic support to their fellow undergraduate and international students on campus who may be facing challenges with ther major coursework. In reture, participating tutors can receive scholarships.     We are currently seeking tutors who can assist their peers with their major studies and tutees who require academic assistance. This program's primary objective is to not only enhance students' academic performance but also forster meaningful interactions among students.     Staring this semester, the TNT Program will offer in-person meetings.        1. Qualification     a. Tutors  1) Applicants must maintain a CGPA of 3.75 or higher throughout the entire semester, including the last semester.  2) A GPA of 4.0 or higher in the subject they wish to tutor is required.   3) Only 3rd and 4th-year students are eligible to apply.  4) Tutors may apply to tutor a minimum of 2 subjects, up to a maximum of 4 subjects.  5) Selection will be based on considering GPA and the applicant's study plan.  - Once selected, applicants must submit their transcript and a signed pledge.     b. Tutees  1) Eligible candidates are currently enrolled students at KUBS who are facing challenges in major subjects. This includes including international students, exchange students, dual degree students, and students from Interdisciplinary Studies)  2) There is no GPA limit, and even students who have received academic warnings can apply.  3) There is no grade limit, with priority given to international students.  4) Each tutee may apply for a maximum of 2 subjects.  5) Selection will be based on GPA and the tutee's study plan.  - Once selected, applicants must submit their transcript and a signed pledge.        2. Tutees can receive up to 2 tutorings per semester (Major Required)      ※ Both tutors and tutees can participate in 2 subjects per semester, but the commitment should be either 24 hours or 48 hours.   d. At the program's commencement, a tutor, tutees, and a TA will collaboratively plan schedules within the timeframe of 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on weekdays.      ※ If a schedule change is necessary, the TA must be notified at least 3 days in advance. Please be aware that schedule changes are allowed only onece per semester.  e. Tutors are required to submit a monthly report and report their tutoring hours on the last day of each month.  f. If a tutee withdraws from the tutoring program during the semester, they will be ineligible to apply for the program from the next semester. Moreover, there may be penalties when applying for scholarships and/or Student Exchange Programs.    b. Each tutee can participate in tutoring for a maximum of 4 courses throughout the entire semester.     8. Benefits for Tutors    a. Tutors will receive a scholarship, which will be awarded after the submission of their weekly report on the last day of the month (25,000 won per hour).    b. The official application period for leave of absence and return to school for the fall semester of 2023 was scheduled from August 1, 2023 to August 25, 2023 as indicated on KUPID.  However, for KUBS students who were unable to apply during the scheduled period due to reasons such as qualification examinations, we are extending the application period as follows:    1. Extended Period for Leave of Absence and Return to School: August 26, 2023 to September 12, 2023, 17:00 (within the final enrollment period for the fall semester)  ※ During the official period for leave of absence and return (August 1, 2023 to August 25, 2023), please refer to KUPID announcement and apply through KUPID.  ※ After the official course registration periods, course registration will not be unavailable for any reason. Students planning to return to school must register for courses during the designated period, regardless of their current leave and return status.  ※ After the aforementioned period has passed, returning to school is not possible, and a leave of absence during the semester(학기중휴학) will be the only option.  (Students on leave of absence within the final enrollment period can receive a full tuition refund, which will be processed by the department in charge in October according to the academic schedule.)    2. How to Apply for Leave of Absence and Return to School During the Extended Period   1) Download and fill out the attached leave of absence and return application form.  (Applying through KUPID is not available outside the official period.)  ※ Military leave/return and other special leave applicants must submit supporting documents separately. KUBS is now recruiting members for the 19th KUBS Student Ambassador Program "KUBE" for Fall 2023.   KUBE members will be participating in various activities to enhance the university image. Any KUBS undergraduate students who are interested in developing KUBS brand power with school spirit and self-esteem, please refer to the guidelines below.    1. Recruitment    Vacancies  • 6 students, more or less    Minimum Qualifications  • KUBS undergraduate students with school spirit, high self-esteem, and loyalty (your first major must be Business Administration) • Willingness to participate in organizing events to promote KUBS • Students who are able to serve for full one-year term (2023.10.01 ~ 2024.09.30, including summer and winter vacation) • Students who are able to attend general body meetings, which will be held every Monday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., and informal meetings (the attendance is mandatory, and you cannot apply if you are taking a class on Monday, 6th period) • Students who will NOT be participating in intern or society along with the full one-year term of KUBE • Ability to speak and understand basic Korean    Preferred Qualifications (please indicate on your application)  • Running campus life vlog on personal SNS • Ability to speak a second language fluently • Proficient in Microsoft Office, photo and video editing • Student mentor participants of KUBS Teen Mentoring Day     Additional Information  • If you do not complete the designated terms (two semesters), a certificate will not be issued and your scholarship will be returned   2. Eligibility: Undergraduate students who complete all the requirements below:  1) Students who will graduate or complete coursework (pending graduate) by August 2023, (for those pursuing their first major (including from school of interdisciplinary studies), double major, and dual degree in Business.  2) Students who have fulfilled the requirements for the completion certificate of the KUBS Concentration Track  3) Students who have earned all the credits required to graduate from all majors     2. Application Period: ~ July 28 (Fri), 2023, 17:00  * Applications cannot be submitted outside this period.     3. Required documents  1) Application form for completion certificate of KUBS Concentration Track (경영대학 세부트랙 이수 인증 신청서)  2) Academic transcript (including the spring 2023 semester)     4. The 26th KUBS Buddy Recruitment KUBS has signed academic exchange agreements with 102 overseas universities from 32 countries and is continuously promoting active exchange by sending and accepting numerous students. We are now recruiting the 27th KUBS Buddy members. For those who are interested, please refer to the information below:   1. What is KUBS Buddy? KUBS Buddy, short for Korea University Business School Buddy, is a renowned organization within Korea University's Business School. Its dedicated members are committed to assisting exchange students in acclimating to life at Korea University. These knowledgeable guides provide valuable support and guidance throughout the students’ journey.   1)    Purpose: •    To support KUBS exchange students. •    To increase the status as a prestigious worldwide university by providing continuous support and promotional services for international students. 2)    History: The first recruitment was held in 2010, and KUBS is in the process of recruiting the 27th KUBS Buddy for the fall semester of 2023. 3)    Recruitment Area: •    Executive Division: Create KUBS Buddy apparel, organize meeting dates, and reserve meeting rooms •    Press Division: Produce posters and card news, cover activities, and manage the official KUBS Buddy Instagram account •    Program Division: Plan KUBS Buddy activities and collect feedback •    Period: One year (Participation in 2 consecutive semesters is mandatory; however, exemptions are granted for military service obligations and exchange student programs.) 4)    General Body Meeting: Following each activity, a mandatory debriefing meeting will be conducted to discuss and review the regular activities. 5)    It is mandatory to participate in regular activities at least 3 times.   2.
