The Center for Human Rights and Gender Equality will run the ‘Replacement Course (hereinafter referred to as the Course)’ for undergraduate students who have not completed the ‘Human Rights and Gender Equality Education’ between the 2017 - 2020 academic years.   1. Eligible Students Among undergraduate students who entered Korea University in the academic year of 2017, those who are expected to graduate this semester or who have not completed the compulsory education in each academic year except for the 2021 academic year. KUBS has established the Implementaiton Guideline for the Certification Program of KUBS Concentration Track.   1. Reasons for establishing the certification program of the Concentration Track - To nurture creative convergence talents who know how to respond to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, fulfill social responsibilities as a member of one’s country and the international community, and cultivate sustainable values. - To cultivate both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to understand emerging issues in a rapidly changing business environment and find creative and innovative solutions. - To provide student-oriented education by allowing students to design and implement academic plans focused on developing knowledge and strengthening competencies in specific areas of business administration.   2. Date of Establishment: May 1, 2021   3. Main Points - There shall be three concentration tracks: Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Business Analytics, and Social Value & Sustainability in Business. - Depending on the curriculum (accredited courses) of each track, once the required credits (18 credits) are completed, a certificate of completion will be issued for that track. - Students in the Department of Business Administration (including those who are in Interdisciplinary Studies), and students of intensive major, double major and dual degree programs are eligible for application. - Students can complete more than one concentration track. However, a student cannot postpone graduation to complete the concentration track if all graduation requirements have been met. (*completion of concentration track is not a graduation requirement.) - In order to apply for the completion certification of the concentration track, students must submit required documents to the KUBS administration office by the specified date after their grades for the final semester prior to graduation have been confirmed. - (Transitional measures) The new program is also applied to students who have taken the courses prior to the effective date. Students who are expecting to graduate in August 2021 (including candidates) are eligible to apply for the completion certification for the concentration track. The Department Office of Business Administration provides the preliminary graduation qualification review and graduation information for the prospective graduates of August 2021 in order to reduce their anxiety for graduation and also to prevent mistakes in advance.   For those who are expected to graduate soon, please carefully read the guidelines and attachment below to avoid any disadvantages.     I. Preliminary Graduation Qualification Review   1. Eligibility: Prospective graduates of August 2021 (Students whose first major is Business Administration, double majors, and dual degrees included) 1) Due to COVID-19 outbreak, Graduation Qualification Review will be sent via email registered in the school system. 2) Pending graduates do not have to check their graduation qualification. They can graduate at the end of corresponding semester once the graduation requirements are submitted. [Undergraduate] A Double Major Petition, Fall 2020   Under the University Constitution and Regulations in Chapter 4, Section3, Article 35 Academic Operations Regulation Chapter 6, Section 2, subsection 1 on Double Major   1. Eligibility Students who specified their 1st major  Students must complete a minimum 3 semesters at the University (minimum of 2 semesters for transfer students) Students who are enrolled in Spring semester, 2021. If a student applies for a leave of absence after the release of the double major petition outcome, the application will be withheld.  Applicants must be enrolled during March 1- July 31  Restrictions may apply for entering class of ’97 and ’98 students who are only allowed to declare a double major from humanities and social sciences faculties. (No restrictions apply for design or physical education students.) Students who are already approved of a double major, an interdisciplinary major, a student-designed major or engineering authentication certificate program are NOT eligible to declare a double major. Unless they withdraw from the earlier application before May 8th, 17:00. [Notice] Spring 2021 Application for KUBS Dream Scholarship (~4.26)   ※ Dream Scholarship is a living-fee scholarship.   Eligibility: Business School Student who registered 2021 Spring semester (it should be less than 9th registher) (There is no GPA standard) (If you already received living fee scholarship more than 3,000,000KRW, you are automatically rejected from the evaluation.)   Necessary documents: 1. Online Application (including the agreement to collect to use personal information) 2. Certificate of Birth  3. Bank statement (last 3 months of bank transaction) 4. Confirmation of disease (for whom possible only / including a family member) 5. Etc (any documents that can prove your economic situation including the prof's letter)     Application period: April 6 (TUE) ~ 26 (MON) (27th APR 00:00 >> closed)   Online application : biz.korea.ac.kr/eng - undergradate - Scholarship - KUBS Dream Scholarship  - application - apply   Access to ☞ https://biz1.korea.ac.kr/eng/undergraduate/scholar_kubs Application click > Apply click > Log in > Fill out all section and attach the documents > Submit     ***If you are unable to log in KUBS website : the letter like #@!& is in your password. how to fix : KUPID log in > change your password (only composed with alphabet and number) > KUBS website log in   Students can edit their application during the application period (by 00:00 AM of the 27th April). When submiting your application, make sure to temporarily save it in advance.   Things to consider: 1. If you already received living fee scholarship more than 3,000,000 KRW, you are automatically rejected from the evlauation.   2. The length of the statement of purpose is maximum 2000byte. Please write about why you need to receive a scholarship. If you take a leave within this semester after you received a scholarship, please indicate that you are to return to school.   3. We only accept online applications.
