    Hyun Seok (“Huck”) Lee [이현석] is an Associate Professor of Logistics, Service and Operations Management (LSOM) and Area Chair in Business Analytics (BA) in Korea University Business School (KUBS). His research interests include (1) service operations with an emphasis on retail operations (both brick-and-mortar and online retailing) and healthcare operations, (2) people-centric operations with an emphasis on incentives and labor scheduling, and (3) matching capacity and demand with an emphasis on drug shortages. His research is published in premier journals including Management ScienceManufacturing & Service Operations Management, Journal of Operations Management and Production and Operations Management. His research has been recognized by various prizes including 2022 MK Emerging Scholar Paper Award, 2022 Seok-Top Award for Research Excellence (top 3% researcher at the university level), 2022 UTD Distinguished Research Award (two awards), 2021 SK Distinguished Research Award (two awards), 2020 Prominent Scholar Award, 2018 DSI Conference Best Interdisciplinary Paper Award, 2016 Rising OM Scholar Award, and M. Wayne DeLozier Award. His excellence in teaching has also recognized by 2022 Seok-Top Award for Teaching Excellence, 2021 Excellence in Teaching Award, and 2019 Betty and Forrest Simmons Excellence in Graduate Teaching Award. He received his Ph.D. from the Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, MS and BBA from Korea University Business School.
