It’s no longer a surprise to be called Korea’s No.1 Business School. For the past 10 years, KUBS earned first place from various rating agencies and educational assessment conducted by media. KUBS is now aiming for rank 50 worldwide and top 3 in Asia.
 
KUBS has showed again in this year rating and assessment, that KUBS is the ‘best’. KUBS was rated top class in the ‘2014 Jungang Newspaper University ranking’, in the evaluation for liberal arts. In the Business School evaluation conducted by 90 universities across the country, KU earned rank 1 in △Education environment △ Professor capabilities △ Funding △ Education effects, etc. Top class Business schools included KU, SNU, Kyunghee University, Sungkyunkwan University, etc.
 
KUBS was 89th world-wide, and 1st inside Korea for the ‘World Business Schools Research Performance’ conducted by the University of Texas. This review is an authoritative indicator for evaluating the research capabilities of faculty, and number of papers published in the Best Business Journal. KUBS was placed at rank 1 (domestically) for the past nine consecutive years, and it was the first school to make it into the global top 100. Based on the results above, KUBS is the only university that was selected by BK21 PLUS to become a large business unit.



Assessment of graduates is also a national top-notch. According to the website of CEO Score, among CEOs of 500 companies in Korea, KUBS students take up the largest number. Graduates received top scores from HR managers from 200 companies in the following categories: △New recruits rating △ Business adaptability △ Organizational convergence △ Business mindset △Development potential, etc. For the reasons above, KUBS never missed first place for six consecutive years.
 
KUBS have successfully held the 2nd Asia-Pacific Business School Dean Summit. Also on April KUBS opened up a Liaison Office in KEDGE Business School, and in October, KEDGE Liaison Office was installed in KUBS, with the purpose of creating and facilitating the Eurasia MBA. With this, KUBS were able to open up numerous lectures, inviting well-known economists such as Carlie Fiorina and Jim Rogers.
 
It was thanks to their ceaseless effort towards the 'innovation of management education' to become world-renowned Business School. KUBS won a major international certification of Business Administration College of Education for the first time in Korea. In 2005, KUBS earned certification from AACSB, and in 2007 from EQUIS. KUBS proved their superiority in academic curriculum in 2010 by getting re-certified for five years in both indices. International certification and assessment has great significance to the students. With this, KUBS is able to provide exchange programs with world renowned universities for faculty member and students, internships abroad, and make academic exchange agreements with universities overseas.
