KUBS placed in the top rank in the 2014 Joongang Ilbo assessment

KUBS took the top rank in the 2014 Joongang Ilbo assessment for liberal arts university programs.
This assessment was conducted by looking at the education environment, Professor capacities, funding, and training effect. This assessment targeted 90 Business Schools in Korea. In the highest rank, Korea University was included, along with Kyunghee University, Seoul National University and Sungkyunkwan University. In upper class, a total of 16 universities, including Dongguk University, Seogang University, Yonsei University, etc. were mentioned. As for the mid-upper class, a total of 25 universities were mentioned including Catholic University, Kookmin University, and Dangook University, etc.
Given the results from KUBS, it is not so surprising to see KU in top class. Examples would be being selected to partake in the BK21 PLUS, and earning two well-known certificates: AACSB and EQUIS.
KUBS also earned reputation as one of the world's largest business university research performance by earning the rank 89. It also placed 22 in the 2013 Global Executive MBA, which meant that it was 1st inside Korea(FT), and in addition, it earned no. 1 from the assessment of HR managers in 200 companies (Hankyung Business).
Dean Doohee Lee said “KUBS is now competing with world renowned Business Schools, and it is our goal to become rank 50 in the world, and rank 3 in Asia.”
