Inbound and outbound exchange student orientation for the fall semester of 2019 was held at Ahn Young Il Hall and Cuckoo Hall of LG-POSCO Building on August 29(Thu). The event was attended by 115 exchange students from 56 schools in 20 countries, including China, Australia, the U.S. and Spain, 50 preliminary applicants for the KUBS SEP exchange program to be  dispatched in the spring semester of 2020, and KUBS Buddy. The orientation began with students at KUBS having time to interact with students from the exchange schools to be dispatched in the spring semester of next year. While KUBS students received practical information about the dispatched schools, foreign inbound exchange students received practical information about Korea University, followed by pleasant and informative conversations.
 

As for the outbound orientation, information session was held regarding the preparation procedure before dispatch, such as submission of additional documents, application for classes, visa issuance, and the grading of exchange students. "We welcome you to Korea's top business school, Korea University Business School," Professor Martin Hemmert said in a welcoming speech at the inbound orientation. He went on saying, "You will experience practical lectures here with a high level of students in an optimal environment, not a traditional and boring class." After the welcoming speech, foreign exchange students had time to promote friendship with the help from KUBS Buddy.

KUBS Buddy is an organization under the KUBS International Office, and is conducting promotional activities to inform foreigners of Korea University Business School.
