KUBS securing the foundation for global promotion

KUBS has opened a website on Facebook, the global networking site, for foreign exchange students.

Not only exchange students from the Spring semester of 2009 but foreign students who studied at KUBS in the past are registered on Facebook. Students can freely share information on life at KUBS and school announcements. The KUBS website provides foreign students with information on important school dates and other matters. Visitors can also find pictures from the various KUBS events. Facebook, a social networking site which began at Harvard University, grew massively as it quickly spread throughout famous Ivy League schools. Today Facebook has over 200 million users worldwide.

KUBS is pushing its promotional efforts and has uploaded videos promoting KUBS on YouTube, the world’s largest UCC site. A global platform, YouTube attracts over 200 million global viewers daily and can promote KUBS globally once the videos on Youtube become popular.

Representative from KUBS International Office said “We’re getting great feedback from students because we can expand exchanges and promotional activities of KUBS on these social networking sites used by people from all over the world.”
