Notice on Leave of Absence During Semester for National Holidays 

Please be advised of the refund amounts applicable for leave of absence during the semester: 

[Refund Amount] Total: KRW 3,560,000 (for domestic students) 

* 5/6 of the total from Sep 1 to Sep 30 

* 2/3 of the total from Oct 1 to Oct 31 

* 1/2 of the total from Nov 1 to Nov 30 (no refund availabl after this date) 

For the national holidays (Chuseok) from Sep 29 to Sep 30, we are exceptionally accepting application for leave of absence via email (mmmg08@korea.ac.kr) instead of in-person submission. 

If submitted by email before Sep 30, 23:59, the refund amount will be 5/6 of the total.

※ Consultation and approval from your mentor professor are required. Please attach any relevant email correspondence if you communicate with the professor via email. 

Failing to submit the required documents will result in the denial of your leave of absence request. 

Starting Oct 1, the refund amount will change. Ensure you apply by Sep 30 if you plan to take leave. 

* For applications during the pending period for academic changes from Sep 27, 17:00 to Oct 23, 09:00, changes will be applied at KUPID after Oct 24. (However, the refund amount will follow the application date.)
