Extension of Online Lecture Until May 2nd

With the spread of COVID-19 to Europe and other parts of the world, Korean Ministry of Education recently decided to postpone the opening of all elementary, middle, high school and special schools nationwide.

In coordination with the government policy, Korea University has decided to extend the period of online education until May 2nd for the health and safety of KU members.

1. All theoretical classes must be conducted online for the first seven weeks (March 16th May 2nd).

2. Classes involving practical training or outdoor practices can be held offline with some restrictions.

3. Graduate school courses and classes involving hands-on experiments can be partially conducted offline determined by the KU Academic Affairs.

4. Midterm exams (May 4 to May 9) will be conducted according to the decision of the professor in charge of the course.

For the well-being of all the school members and the stabilization of the crisis, we sincerely ask for your kind understanding and cooperation. We look forward to seeing you in the near future on a beautiful campus full of spring flowers.
