Important Notice for Prospective Graduates of August 2023 with Completed Coursework

This is a notice for prospective graduates in August 2023 who have completed their coursework(수료생). 

   

1. Submission of Graduation Requirements (when submitting your graduation requirements, please make sure to include your student ID number, name, and contact number.) 

1) Certificate of English/Chinese(exemption) Proficiency: visit the administration office (Room #103, KUBS Main Building) or email to mmmg08@korea.ac.kr by Friday, July 7, 2023 

2) Business English 1/2: visit the administration office (Room #103, KUBS Main Building) or email to haeunchoi@korea.ac.kr by July 7, 2023(Fri) 

3) If your starting year at the school is 2017 or later: at least 4 sessions (2 for transfer students) of Human Rights and Gender Equality should be completed. 

For any inquiries regarding Human Rights and Gender Equality, please contact the Human Rights Center at 02-3290-2843 / humanrights@korea.ac.kr 

4) If you are in your last semester of possible enrollment: you can apply for an exemption for the graduation requirements mentioned above. For exemption details, please refer to the instructions provided through the following link: https://han.gl/bOtjYV 

  

  

2. Note 

1. Contact Information Update 

1) Important graduation notices will be sent to your registered contact infomation. 

2) To update: KUPID > Registration&Graduation > Edit University Registration 

 

 

3. Korean/English Names for Diploma 

1) KUPID > Registration&Graduation > University Registration > University Registration Inquiries 

2) If your English name is not registered on KUPID, your English diploma cannot be issued. 

3) Your diploma will be printed with your Korean/English name as it appears at KUPID (double-check for uppercase and lowercase letters, spelling, and spacing). 

4) Name change: Email mmm08@korea.ac.kr 

 

※ This only applies to students whose first major or dual degree is in business. Students from other departments, including double major students, should contact the administration office of their first major for further assistance. 

 

5) After correction is made, confirm your name at KUPID. 

6) Once your diploma is issued, the name cannot be revised. 

  

  

4. Graduation Photo Album (for the first major and dual degree in Business only) 

1) For further information, please refer to the notice on the KUBS website or at KUPID. 

2) Students will receive a bill after photo shoot.

5. Commencement Ceremony 

1) Commencement ceremony is held once a year in February, which (includes August graduates. 

2) Students majoring in Business as their first major and dual degree are eligible to participate in the KUBS Commencement Ceremony and apply for attendance in February. 

 

 

 

6. Others 

* Prospective graduates who have completed their coursework are not required  to check their preliminary graduation qualification review. They simply need to submit the graduation requirements. 

* If you have already completed the graduation requirements during the semester,  there is no need for you to submit them again. 

You can check the status of your graduation requirements competion at KUPID> Academic/Graduation > Graduation Requirements Acquisition Status Inquiry. 

* If you do not wish to graduate in the upcoming August but instead want to remain as a student who completed coursework, please submit the graduation requirements during the semester in which you intend to graduate.

- Students who complete all the graduation requirements by the first week of July will receive an email, sent to the registered email address at KUPID, containing the final result of graduation and important notices in the first week of August.
