Successful completion of “The 2nd Teen Mentoring Day”
Major Experience Program incorporates lecture and practices of Business Administration…Sixty-three high school students across the nation participated in the event
KUBS students join the social contribution program as volunteer mentors
 
 
“The 2nd KUBS Teen Mentoring Day" was held on January 30 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Sixty-three high school students across the nation who wish to study at KUBS participated in the event, and 17 members from KUBE (Student Ambassador at KUBS) also joined as volunteer mentors. The Mentoring Day was organized by KUBS for high students aspiring to become the next generation of entrepreneurs.
 


 
KUBS Dean Dong-One Kim said, “KUBS has been emphasizing that the study of Business Administration is not to accumulate one’s wealth but to contribute to society, and its significant value is to nurture talented individuals for society. He added, “As the best business school in Korea, KUBS strived to expand its social contribution and promoted the Major Experience Program to help high school students broaden their understanding of Business Administration.” This Mentoring Day event, organized by KUBS, was free with no additional fees charged for participation.
 


 
The event consists of various programs, such as △Special Lecture by KUBS Professor Woochan Kim, △Campus Tour, and △Business Administration Practices with Student Mentors. KUBS will continue to support students set career paths and plan for their academic goals by hosting a Teen Mentoring Day event every vacation for high school students wishing to enroll at KUBS.


 
“Through the special lecture by Professor Kim, I was able to learn about Business Administration and how it can be utilized in societies,” said participant Yeo-Kyung Yoon from Chungnam Foreign Language High School. “Asking questions and learning from KUBS Student Mentors while exploring the campus were certainly beneficial. I would like to recommend this program to my friends. Lastly, I will study diligently to get into Korea University Business School.”
