On December 9, “The End-of-Semester Party for KUBS International Faculty & Students” was held on the first floor of Hyundai Motor Hall. At the event, Dean of KUBS Dong-One Kim, international professors, and approximately 40 international students studying in KUBS attended the event and interacted with each other. This end-of-semester party was hosted by the KUBS International Office for international faculty and students.
After the welcome message from Dong-One Kim, the speeches about life in KUBS were delivered by undergraduate, graduate, and exchange students. They also had a social gathering accompanied by finger food.
“Thanks to the support of the KUBS International Office and the students, I was able to well-adjusted to life in Korea,” said Ehsan Goudarzi, the regular international student. “I wish to express my sincere gratitude for all the support, and I hope there will be more events for international students.”
Meanwhile, the great number of international students are receiving global management education in KUBS. As of 2015, there are 261 regular international students and 160 exchange students. In order to complement their studies in Korea, the KUBS International Office is operating various programs, such as “KUBS Buddy (support for exchange students)” and “KUBS Global (support for regular international students).”
