4 teachers from KUBS won the Seoktap Lecture Award in the second semester of 2021, and two won the Seoktap Research Award.
The winners of the Seoktap Lecture Award are △ Byungwan Koh △ Chansu Park △ Hojung Shin △ Professor Dongwook Lee (in Korean alphabetical order)
The Seoktap Lecture Award has been operating as part of the Lecture Evaluation Incentive System since the first semester of 2004 to improve the quality of lectures and enhance the educational environment. At the end of each semester, the winners will be selected with the average score of the Course Survey taken by the students who were enrolled in the course. Major classes are awarded to full-time teachers in the top 5% of the number of courses offered by each college, liberal arts courses in the top 5% of the total number of courses offered, and English lectures in the top 5% of the number of courses offered by each category.
In addition, since 2016, the Korea University Research Institute has established the Seoktap Research Award and selected teachers who contributed to the improvement of the research ability of this school with excellent research results. The Seoktap Research Award comprehensively judges academic papers, academic books, and research expenses announced for one year, and follows four criteria: teachers within the top 3% of each category, teachers who are main authors of famous academic research papers, teachers with excellent international research cooperation papers, and teachers with excellent research expenses. Professor △ Byungcho Kim △ Hyunseok Lee of Business School was selected as the winner of the Seoktap Research Award. (In Korean alphabetical order).
On the other hand, since the enactment of the Seoktap Research Award in 2016, teachers at KUBS have been awarded the Seoktap Research Award every year, showing excellent research results.
