What Innovative Business Ideas Does Our Society Need?

2024 Executive MBA ELITE Project Presentation Successfully Concluded 

On August 3rd, Korea University Business School hosted the 2024 Executive MBA (E-MBA) ELITE (Executive Learning & Interactive Team Exercise) Project Presentation at the SUPEX Hall, located in the LG-POSCO Business Hall. The presentation featured 50 sophomores from the 21st Class of the E-MBA program, each acting as CEO showcasing various business strategies and start-up ideas based on fresh and innovative concepts. 

The event began with an address from Professor Daeki Kim, the supervising professor for the 21st  Class. He acknowledged the hard work put in by the students alongside their academic advisors, stating, “You have all worked diligently to prepare for the ELITE Project. I hope today’s presentations will help the 21st Class of the E-MBA program take another step forward in their growth.” 

The presentations then proceeded, with six teams presenting their projects. The team names and topics were as follows: ▶ Team 1_Game Changer (Business Model for Managing Events Using Digital Guestbooks, Academic Advisor Dongwon Lee) ▶ Team 2_MakeDream (A Service Connecting Food Manufacturers and Sellers, Academic Advisor Byungjo Kim) ▶ Team 3_God of Empathy (A Solution to Alleviate Loneliness, Academic Advisor Younggyu Kim) ▶ Team 4_Changemakers (A Standardized Workplace for the Disabled – F&B Supply, Academic Advisor Wonsang Yoo) ▶ Team 5_SoomPero (Online Group Gift-Giving, Academic Advisor Changhwa Jung) ▶ Team 6_Sixth Sense (An Integrated Triathlon Application, Academic Advisor Seungwon Yoo) 

The top prize of the presentation went to Team 5, SoomPero (Online Group Gift-Giving, Academic Advisor Changhwa Jung). SoomPero's business idea of an online group gifting service was lauded as a groundbreaking concept, reflecting the gift-giving trends of the MZ generation. The project successfully met the needs of both consumers and vendors, particularly appealing to the MZ generation.
