Dodotdo (Iljin Center Team) Wins “D.Day” Competition Held by D.CAMP

Dodotdo (StartupTeam from Iljin Center) Wins “D.Day” Competition” Held by D.CAMP 
 
On December 1 (Thu), Dodotdo, a startup team from Iljin Center for Startup Incubation and a developer of integrated communication solution for business purpose, was crowned the winner of “The 35th D.Day,” held at the D.CAMP event hall in Yeoksam-dong. D.CAMP has been hosting a monthly startup demo day event called “D.Day” since June 2013. The event is known as “startup gateway.” Up to now, a total of 172 startups were on the stage. The leading companies, such as 8Percent and Nthings, were inducted to the D.Day Hall of Fame.

“I will take this award as encouragement to carry on our business and will continue to work harder,” said CEO Soyeong who has developed a solution by flying over to the U.S. several times to explore 50 best hotels and to understand its field. In addition to winning the award for the competition, Dodotdo also bagged Popularity Award voted by the audience.
 
Furthermore, Dodotdo won “The 2016 Startup Express” hosted by KUBS Startup Institute. Dodotdo develops a convenient and fast integrated management solution on hotel and cruise service using a smartwatch. HIMS (Hospitality Intelligent Management System), which is the core solution of Dodotdo, is a solution installed with key functions on a smartwatch. The smartwatch was developed to improve the inefficiency in hotel business operations caused by different patterns and demands of customers along with the difficulty of carrying around mobile devices. Dodotdo introduced HIMS at Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference in New Orleans, U.S. in July of this year.
