KUBS Soccer Club Advances to the 63rd Korea University Intramural Soccer Championship
KUBS Soccer Club “Kyeongchuk” continues to hold onto the lead in the fall semester as well. On September 9, Kyeongchuk participated in “The 63rd Korea University Intramural Soccer Championship,” which was held at Nokgee Field, and advanced to the final round with a record of one win, one loss, and one tie.

A total of 32 teams participated in the KU Intermural Soccer Championship, held annually in fall. Of all, 16 teams were qualified for the final. The final matches were scheduled from November 11 (Fri) to November 30 (Wed).
Kyeongchuk’s outstanding performance stemmed from practicing every week and participating in various games. In addition, Kyeongchuk won championships in the “2016 KU Cup” and “Copa Armada.” Copa Armada is a soccer tournament playing against business schools in Seoul. “We practiced every day and have improved our teamwork and soccer skills,” said SeJin Byun (Business Administration, ’12), who is leader of Kyeongchuk. “Our team strives to produce fruitful results in the rest of the games.”
Meanwhile, Kyeongchuk also competed in the “2016 Gatorade SUFA LEAGUE” and “2016 Yonsei University Intramural Soccer Tournament” as representative soccer team from Korea University.
