Kim Byung-chae (CEO of Poinix Inc.) donated 50 million won to KUBS.
Kim donation of 50 million won will be used as a scholarship for KUBS undergraduates. "I wanted to join the recent brilliant development of the business school -- I want it to be used for my alma mater," he said.
Poinix Inc., which is represented by Mr. Kim, was established in 2003 and is a road-packing company with traffic noise reduction technology by double-deck packaging structure using radioactive SBS (Radial Type SBS) switching system. By using this technology, traffic noise can be reduced by more than 90% without high soundproofing walls. Poinix started its research on low-noise packaging in 2006 and developed a double-layer packaging technology in 2011. In 2015, it was certified by the Ministry of Environment for the first time in the field of road traffic noise and obtained technical verification.
