Fall 2016 Freshman Seminar Course Guidelines
※ Please refer to the attached files below.
■ All freshman students SHOULD complete, one of the required elective courses, per each semester (course number for the fall semester: GEKS002 or GEKS004).
■ Consists of two components: (1) Departmental Seminar, which is organized and operated by each department (2) University Seminar (online), which is organized and operated by the Institute for General Education. All freshman students MUST complete both components in each semester.
■ Participants of gain one credit each semester and the performance is judged by a dichotomous pass-fail evaluation standard. The grading will be conducted by the faculty advisor of each participant’s department.
■ Departmental Seminar
- Each department organizes and operates their own program for the seminar. For any inquiry on this program, please contact your own department office.
■ University Seminar (Online)
- Period: October 4 (Thu) ~ December 21, 2016 (Wed)
- Place: Blackboard system (http://kulms.korea.ac.kr)
- Must complete the following three designated courses in each semester

■ Notice
- All 2016 freshman students will be automatically enrolled.
If you retake or haven’t taken the course, you MUST register by yourself.
- English/Chinese subtitles will be provided according to your preference.
- Freshman Seminar will open on Blackboard System on the day of opening "University Seminar (Online) and will be announced on bulletin board. The online University Seminar is expected to be open on October 4th.
