Please see below for details of English name registration and correction for prospective graduates of February 2016.
※ English Diplomas will not be issued to students who did not register their English names.
※ Only one diploma will be issued per student; Duplicate diplomas will not be issued.
1. Registration Method:

1. Registration Method:
1)Registration and Correction: To the corresponding Administration Office.
2) Required Information: ⓐ Student Number ⓑ Korean Name ⓓ English Name
* Select one of the options below:
① Passport Holder: Write your name as indicated in your passport.
② Non-Passport Holder:
① Passport Holder: Write your name as indicated in your passport.
② Non-Passport Holder:
(1) “Last Name” “, (Comma)” “First Name”; Write your last name in all capital letters.
- Example: Smith, John
(2) The first letter of your first name must be written in capital, and the rest can be written as you wish.
- Examples: HONG, Gildong / HONG, GIL-DONG / HONG, Gil-Dong / HONG, GILDONG etc.
(3) Consider carefully how your name comes across in English. For example, Suck (석) and Bum (범) have negative connotations in English whereas Beom and Seok do not. Also, consider that certain spelling may have gender connotation. For example, Sue (수) is a female name in English whereas Soo is not. Likewise, "주" should be written as Joo, not Jew.
