On November 22nd, KUBS Ladies held a “Good Evening” mentoring program at LG-POSCO building. “Good Evening” is a career development event presented for the female students in KUBS who want to share their goals and objectives and to ask advice from the graduates. In the program, for the participants to communicate well each other, everyone forms a group with one graduate and two undergraduates.

The main event started with the opening remark from Chung-jin Lee (KUBS81), the president of KUBS Ladies: "I'm so proud of the KUBS Ladies' culture, which presents a great heritage to the next generation of ladies in KUBS. Every year I see a lot of students coming to the event as a mentor who once had experienced being a mentee in the past, and I appreciate the members providing endless support to our community.”

Next, Jieun Lee (KUBS01), the KUBS Ladies operation department manager addressed a congratulatory speech. The manager mentioned: “The last schedule of tonight’s event will be the mentoring hours with the senior Ladies members, so please enjoy until the end. To introduce my personal story, recently I have had an experience of employing my first KUBS Ladies mentee as a member of my company’s team. We never know what will happen in the future, so I suggest you all to keep your open-mind toward the people around you.”

One of the mentoring participants, Jiwon Kwon answered to the interview conducted after the program, saying “It was a great time to share my insights with the undergraduate students and I am so glad that I can give back the benefits and supports that I had received from the Ladies Alumni in the past. I look forward to meeting the Ladies outside of the campus as well.” On the mentee side, “It became a great motivation to me, while going through the various activities with KUBS Ladies such as office tours and mentoring talks “, undergraduate student Yoon-won Park commented.

Established in 2012, KUBS Ladies is a female student community, striving to expand their social network and to develop relationships on the purpose of fostering the future female leaders. KUBS Blossom group manages the members of KUBS Ladies to actively network between the female students inside and outside of the campus. There are numerous annual events and sessions originated by the group: ‘KUBS Dream Concert’, Job interview preparation program, and ‘The KUBS Ladies 7th Anniversary Ceremony’ in November.
