2018 KUBS Undergraduate Orientation for Commencing Students
Undergraduate Orientation for Spring 2018 commencing students took place at February 23 on 9am, at Woodang Hall Room 602. University Orientation was designed to introduce freshmen to life at Korea University. 340 freshmen and KUBS administrative staffs participated in the event.
Orientation guided students to our programs from △ Career Hub, △ International Office, and information on △ Scholarships, △ A Leave of Absence/ Return & Graduation Requirements, △ Course Information & Registration to ensure students properly registered for their classes. Students also had a gender equality session by Adjunct Professor Ingu Bae. One of our new students, Ho-Sang Lee (Business ’18) commented, “It was a well-delivered event, especially informative of required credit hours and graduation requirements that I was actually curious about.”
The number of commencing students admitted to the Business School this year is 439 in total, including 81 overseas students. We have overseas students from a variety of countries including China, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Mongolia.
