It is not the first time that the Alumni Association of the Class of 1986 has delivered funds to KUBS. In the 31st 'Alumni Night at Korea University Business School', which was held in December 2011, the Association raised its first fund and sponsored KUBS. At that time the Alumni Association had celebrated its 25th anniversary of admission, and raised a fund of 364 million won and delivered it to KUBS. Starting with this, the Association has continued to make beautiful donations to help its juniors of KUBS. The scholarship fund is created in the first place through clubs such as golf clubs and mountaineering clubs, and the final scholarship fund is prepared by adding the amount of donations voluntarily endowed from each alumni. The fund is used to support one or two students at KUBS every year.

A number of schoolmates have gathered to raise funds for KUBS, including Chung Chul-geun, chairman of the association, Kang Kyo-jin, former chairman, Oh Suk-hoon, Oh In-hwan and Ryu Jae-yeol. Seok Gwan-ho, currently a professor at KUBS, and Shin Ho-jeong, are also among the most prominent members of the association.
The scholarship fund of the association is very meaningful because it was prepared with warm hearts for juniors of KUBS. "We want to convey to our juniors the benefits we received at Korea University Business School as well" said Shin Ho-jeong, a professor at KUBS. "It is natural to create an environment where juniors can pursue their studies through constant support at the school and department level."
