“Thank You for Your Donation”…Donor Appreciation Dinner Successfully Complete

On June 30 at 7:00 PM, the KUBS Donor Appreciation Dinner was held at Cuckoo Hall, located on the sixth floor of the LG-POSCO Building. The donor appreciation dinner was organized for donors who have showed love for their alma mater to develop KUBS and foster its students.
△KUBS Dean Dong-One Kim, △KUBS Associate Dean Hosun Rhim, △Alumnus Hwiseong Yu (Commerce, ’58), △Alumnus Taejun Yeom (Commerce, ’58), and △Yeongyeon Yoon (Commerce, ’58) were present at the event. The alumni expressed their love for alma mater by saying, “it is a great honor to make a donation to KUBS, which is home of our heart.”
“I want to extend my deepest gratitude to the alumni for the immeasurable amount of support toward KUBS,” Dean Kim said. “We could not have come this far without your support.”
Meanwhile, KUBS has four different categories of pledges: △Scholarship, △Research, △Construction, and △Miscellany. KUBS’s unique “donation culture” has contributed in ranking No. 1 in business school assessments conducted in Korea and the world.
Thanks to all donors, the funds that have been donated to KUBS over the last three years are approximately 20 billion won. KUBS awarded scholarships to 959 students (scholarship overlap counted).
