Global Beginning of Semester Party at KUBS
On September 5, the Beginning of Semester Party for KUBS International Students & Faculty was held at Ahn Young Il Hall in LG-POSCO Building. Approximately 200 international students and faculty, including KUBS Dean Dong-One Kim, participated in the event. The beginning of semester party, hosted by KUBS International Office, was organized for international students and their professors.
The event began with Dean Kim’s welcoming remarks. Undergraduate, graduate, and exchange students shared their stories of life at KUBS. Afterward, a networking session was held, with pizza and snacks provided.
"The beginning of semester party was a great opportunity not only for regular international students at KUBS but also for foreign exchange students to meet each other and the international faculty of KUBS,” Alara Cetin, who is a regular international student at KUBS, said. “We hope there are more activities to follow.”
As of Fall 2016, a great number of international students (369 regular students and 130 exchange students) are receiving global business education at KUBS. In addition to that, KUBS International Office runs two programs called “KUBS Buddy (support for exchange students)” and “KUBS Global (support for regular international students)” to assist foreign students.
