A total of 67 graduates from FMBA, GMBA, and KMBA programs received their degrees
On August 16 at 3:00 PM, the Fall 2015 MBA Commencement Ceremony was held at SUPEX Hall in LG-POSCO Building. A total of 67 graduates, including △22 Finance MBA (FMBA) students, △36 Global MBA (GMBA) students, and △9 Korea MBA (KMBA) students, received their degrees at the commencement ceremony.
The ceremony proceeded as follows: KUBS Dean Dong-One Kim’s commencement speech, Associate Dean Hosun Rhim’s academic report, announcement of awards, and conferring of degrees. Sixty-seven MBA graduates, who will soon begin a new chapter in life, and families graced the occasion with their presence.

“Keep the KUBS mission ‘Business for Society’ alive and become a true business leader contributing to community to make a healthy society,” Dean Dong-One Kim said in his congratulatory remarks. “I look forward to seeing you again as great leaders who bring honor to their alma mater and benefit society.”
Afterward, the presentation of the Presidential Award, Dean’s Award, and Meritorious Award was followed. Valedictorian Jiwon Woo from the 10th Batch of GMBA received the Presidential Award while valedictorians Woo Joo Yang and Myung Sun Kwon from the 10th Batch of FMBA won the Dean’s Award. The Meritorious Awards went to five FMBA graduates (Youngsuk Ko, Sangyo Kim, Bo Sun Yeum, Mesang Lee, and Jae Won Jo) and seven GMBA graduates (Seungryong Baek, Youngsoo Son, Daeseob Yun, Jongsu Lee, Alexander Whang, Tan Ru Ping Celine, and Minhee Bae). The recipients of the Alumni Association Meritorious Award were FMBA Shinkyu Park and GMBA Seungryong Baek.
