The award was created this year in order to encourage research achievements…Top award recipients were selected through various assessment criteria
Dr. Yong Keun Yoo, professor of Accounting, and Dr. Jae-Nam Lee, Professor of MIS, won the 2016 Seok-Top Research Award. The Seok-Top Award is granted to a professor with excellent research accomplishments among full-time faculty at Korea University. The award was created this year in order to encourage a long-term research achievement culture.The judging criteria for the Seok-Top Award are based on research papers, journals, and records of receiving research grants in the past three years (January 2013 – December 2015). Specifically, the top 2% of each area have been selected by adding up the scores of the nine assessment criteria, such as research quality, research quantity, and the total number of research grants. In addition, the professors who have published in N.S.C. Journal (Nature, Science, Cell Journal) as a first author were selected.
Meanwhile, Professor Yoo and Professor Lee are currently participating in BK 21 Plus “Asian Hub for Global Business Research” project.
