495 KUBS Students Participate in Mentor-Mentee Meeting
Mentoring program runs every semester…KUBS students can talk to mentor professors about their concerns and career plan

The Spring 2016 Mentor-Mentee Meeting was held on April 4, 7, and 8 for three days in Ahn Young Il Hall and Cuckoo Hall of LG-POSCO Building. A total of 64 KUBS professors and 495 students attended the event.

The Mentor-Mentee Meeting allows students to meet with a mentor professor and to talk about their school life and career plan. The purpose of the event is to motivate students with their academic success, as well as developing a rapport and relationship with professors. The event, begun in 2011, has been shown positive effects on academic performance, and has become one of the representative KUBS mentoring programs.

“The Mentor-Mentee Meeting is a very meaningful time for us because we had an opportunity to see our mentor professors and seek for advice as well,” Hyejin Park (Business Administration, ’15), who participated in the Mentor-Mentee Meeting, said. “In addition to that, I was able to meet and communicate with various students.”

In the meantime, 1,026 KUBS students were present at the Mentor-Mentee Meeting last year, and interacted with professors.
