KUBS was ranked global 88th in the 2013 UTD Top 100 Business School Research Rankings. After making its place within the top 100 in 2011 as the first business school in Korea to be ranked, KUBS maintained its high scores for 3 consecutive years and proved that the Korean business administration has jumped to world-class level.

From 1990, UTD Ranking announces the results as Naveen Jindal School of Management (University of Texas at Dallas) sums up the number of papers listed in 24 global best business journals. The ranking is the database of all published papers in business field journal of global authority, and is being used as the core index for many international institutions' university evaluation. Points for the papers published in recent 5 years (1 point per 1 paper) and conversion points reflecting the number of co-authors, multiple affiliation and etc are summed up to decide the ranks.

This year, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania ranked No. 1, followed by Harvard Business School as No. 2. And KUBS ranked higher than Virginia Tech (97th), University of Cambridge (100th), and other world's prestigious universities. In Asia, 9 universities including Korea University (88th), Hong Kong University of Science & Technology (16th), National University of Singapore (43th), Hong Kong Polytechnic University (65th) and others were ranked within top 100. Korea University is the only one to be ranked within the top 100 among Korean universities. For other Korean universities, Yonsei University ranked 168th, Seoul National University as the 182nd, Sungkyunkwan University 199th, and KAIST as the 245th.

KUBS Dean Doo-Hee Lee said "this outcome means that Korean business administration is now raising to world-class level," and also "KUBS will continuously make efforts and active support in order to be ranked within global top 50, and Asia top 3 in 5 years."
