2025 KUBS-DBA Entrance Ceremony and Freshman Orientation Held 

On Friday, February 21, at 2 PM, the 2025 KUBS-DBA Entrance Ceremony and Freshman Orientation was held at LG-POSCO Hall of Korea University Business School (KUBS). During the event, new students attended sessions on the curriculum and academic guidelines, participated in a campus tour, and joined a workshop, preparing for the start of their studies in March. 

During the entrance ceremony, Professor Eonsoo Kim, Dean of the Korea University Graduate School of Business Administration, warmly welcomed the first cohort of students in the Doctor of Business Administration (KUBS-DBA) program, stating, "The DBA program promises a flexible academic structure that allows students to balance work and studies, access to Korea’s largest world-class faculty, and advanced management education built on history and tradition. I sincerely welcome all of you who have joined the KUBS-DBA program." Following the ceremony, a welcome dinner was held, where graduates of the Euro-Asia DBA program joined to celebrate the incoming students and foster networking opportunities. 

Launching in March 2025, the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program is Korea’s first-of-its-kind, innovative doctoral program. It aims to cultivate management innovation leaders who combine practical expertise with academic excellence, pioneering Korea-centric management theories grounded in real-world business practices. 

With the vision of “Practical Academia, Academic Practice,” the program enables business executives and managers to pursue a doctoral degree while continuing their professional careers. Through this program, students can advance their careers, generate new knowledge through scientific research and practical applications, and contribute to the development of both academia and industry.
