[Korea MBA Overseas Field Trip – Vietnam] Hanoi: The Political, Cultural, and Educational Hub
Korea University Business School (Dean= Sangyong Kim) is hosting an 'Overseas Field Trip' program to enhance the international business acumen of its Part-time MBA students. Although the field trip was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it resumed in 2022, allowing students to explore prominent global regions and assisting them in their journey to becoming global business leaders.
In the last 2023 program participants visited Singapore, and this year’s field trip took place in Hanoi, Vietnam, from June 26 to 30. Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is known as a key political, cultural, and educational center. The field trip was attended by Academic Advisor Taekyu Kim, Associate Dean Jaeho Jung, and 154 K-MBA students.
During the trip, the participants visited several prominent companies including Samsung Electronics' R&D Center in Hanoi, Kiovet, LG Electronics, and Autotech. Additionally, the students had the opportunity to explore Hanoi’s Vinhomes Ocean Park as part of a cultural exploration segment, which helped to strengthen the network among the participants.
