KUBS Faculty News for June to July 2024 

1. Professor Woochan Kim 

On June 19th, the Asian Institute of Corporate Governance of Korea University (Executive Director=Woochan Kim) and the Korea Capital Market Institute jointly held a policy seminar on “Recent Trends in Executive Compensation and Improvement Measures for Regulatory Systems” at the Yeouido Financial Investment Center. The policy seminar consisted of presentations and discussions, moderated by Professor Joonghyuk Kim, with participation from business school professors, including Professor Hyun Seung Na as a panelist. 

2. Professor Chris Changwha Chung 

From July 2 to July 6, at the Academy of International Business (AIB) annual conference held in Seoul, the research paper by Professor Chris Changwha Chung and the research team led by PhD candidate Nam Kim was honored as a finalist for the Best Paper Award in Emerging Economies Research. The paper by Professor Chung and the research team is titled “Navigating De-globalization in China: The ‘Double-Loop Springboard’ in Inward and Outward Internationalization and Technology Alliance for Innovation.
