The 15th Carrer Week held…Sharing ‘TikTok’ strategy for sustainable business management
The 15th Career Week, hosted by KUBS (Dean=Johngseok Bae) Career Development center, was successfully held on 28th September. Career Week is an employment competency enhancement program, that invites experts from diverse fields of work and provides students with career mentoring. This event, held at the SUPEX HALL of LG-POSCO Building 4th floor, consisted of two sessions: employment lectures on the first and corporation lectures on the second.
In the first session, the lecture was given by J&P HR Consulting Vice President Keunbae Choi. The lecture was about 90 minutes from 11:30 AM on the theme of . Vice President Choi emphasized that “An interview is a communication, not a quiz” and “Interviewee should get the gist of the interviewer and give a simple and clear answer”. Also, he highlighted some of the points that applicants may overlook during the application and interview. Furthermore, he covered recent recruitment trends such as △Expansion on non-face-to-face/digital recruitment △Generalization of occasional recruitment △Preference for work-ready talents.
After the first session, Global SNS platform ‘TikTok’ Executive in charge of External Affairs-Safety, Erich Anderson gave a corporation lecture for the second session from 14:00 PM. The lecture continued for about an hour in English on the theme of on and . Through examples of CSR and promotion by TikTok, it was an opportunity to look at how social activities, which aim for the local community and the youth, can affect sustainable management.
KUBS Career Development Center hosts various programs such as career seminars or special lectures based on students’ demands and provides many opportunities for employment and career.
