“Hope to become a leader that our society needs”…Entrance Ceremony of the 94th AMP Class Held
The entrance ceremony of the 94th KUBS (Dean=Johngseok Bae) Advanced Management Program (hereinbelow AMP) Class was held at the SUPEX HALL of LG-POSCO Building on September 19th (Mon). KUBS Dean Johngseok Bae, KUBS Associate Dean Yongkeun Yoo, AMP Head Professor Bokyung Bae, and students of the 94th AMP class attended the event, while KUBS Executive Manager Jongkeun Kim moderated the ceremony. Especially, 9 Alumni executives including AMP Alumni Association President Moonchan Kim, Chief Vice President Dongseok Lee, and Vice President for Administration and Finance Gijun Lee also graced the event with their presence.
The ceremony started with opening remarks from KUBS Dean Johngseok Bae. He said, “What our society desperately needs is a true leader in this rapidly changing business environment” and “You are now in the progress to become leaders with high resilience despite challenges and failure.
Furthermore, AMP Alumni Association President Moonchan Kim spoke words of congratulations. Moonchan Kim, the 21st president of the Alumni Association, mentioned previous Alumni Association Presidents and emphasized the importance of the Alumni association network. He also welcomed the 94th Class by saying, “You must have lots of worries until AMP admission, but you made a good decision”. The ceremony was followed by a marimba play on and as a congratulatory performance by Pulse Percussion.
The entrance ceremony ended after singing the school song and taking commemorative photos. On this day, 43 students have become new members of Korea University and they strengthened their enthusiasm for study and better business management.
