Application for KUBS Dream Scholarship 1st Round for the Spring Semester 2026 (Feb. 2 – Feb. 12)

※ To apply for both the KUBS Scholarship (Tuition) and the KUBS Dream Scholarship, please apply separately online and attach the same set of documents.

※ The total scholarship amount for the 1st round is KRW 3,000,000.

1. Application period : February 2, 2026 (Mon), 9:00 AM – February 12, 2026 (Thu), 5:00 PM

2. Eligibility: Students enrolled as of the Spring Semester of 2026

3. Ineligibility:

(1) Students who have received or are expected to receive KRW 3,000,000 or more in living-expense scholarships for the Spring Semester 2026

(2) Students enrolled for 9 semesters or more as of Spring 2026 (For transfer students: 5 semesters or more)

4. Selection Announcement

(1) Selection results will be announced in late March 2026 (Pass/fail notifications will be sent via SMS)

(2) Scholarship disbursement will begin in early April 2026(3) The scholarship will be disbursed in installments as follows:

– Early April: KRW 1,000,000 (equivalent to two months)

– May ~ August: KRW 500,000 per month, deposited around the 10th of each month

※ All payments will be directly deposited into the student’s personal bank account.

5. Selection Criteria

(1) Students whose income bracket for the Spring Semester 2026 is finalized within brackets 0–4 by the Korea Student Aid Foundation (KOSAF).

(2) Students who have completed at least 12 credits in the previous semester and earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher (including F grades).

(3) Students in income brackets 5–10 and international students who are in urgent need of financial support.

(4) Selected recipients are required to attend the scholarship award ceremony and submit a letter of appreciation.

(3) Bank Statement (including 3 months of transaction history)

(4) Confirmation of Disease (if applicable, including for family members)

(5) Other Documents Proving Financial Circumstances: Parents' income certificate, unemployment certificate, etc.

* All documents must be in either Korean or English only.

7. How to apply :

(1) KUBS website : https://biz.korea.ac.kr/eng/undergraduate/scholar_kubs.html → KUBS Scholarship → Application → Apply

(2) Log in using your KUPID account → Complete the application form and upload required documents → Submit

※ Applications may be edited during the application period only.

※ Applications cannot be edited after the deadline.

※ Please confirm the pop-ups : “Your application has been successfully submitted” and “Online application has been made” after submission.

※ Applications are accepted online only.

8. Things to consider:

(1) Students who have already received 100% tuition support will be excluded from evaluation.

(2) Applicants must explain the need for financial support, focusing on their financial circumstances and academic plans.

(3) Applications may be excluded if the reason is identical to the previous semester.

(4) Students who take a leave of absence must refund the scholarship.
