Corvinus University of Budapest Joins the List KUBS Exchange Partners
Deans of both KUBS and Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary, signed a general exchange agreement on Dec. 13, 2004, paving the way towards mutual academic cooperation. According to the agreement, the two schools will exchange up to 3 undergraduate/graduate students annually beginning in the fall semester (2005). Furthermore, KUBS will explore a diverse range of areas in which to collaborate with Corvinus University, such as developing academic programs and joint research projects, as well as exchanging faculty.
Located in the capital of Hungary and founded in 1948, Corvinus University of Budapest is a large institution with a comprehensive curriculum, enrolling about 17,000 students. It is known for its well regarded economics, business, and political science and administration programs. Moreover, its business school’s excellence in management education and research activities have garnered the university a high level of international recognition. It is the only business school in Hungary and the very first in Middle Eastern Europe to join the ‘CEMS’ (Community of European Management School), which it did in 1996. The University has also earned membership in the organization ‘PIM’ (Partnership in International Management) in 2001.
