The 96th Entrance Ceremony of the AMP: "Moving Towards the Path of Leaders Needed in our Era"
On September 11th, the 96th Entrance Ceremony of the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at Korea University Business School (KUBS) took place at the SUPEX Hall within the LG-POSCO Hall. The AMP program serves as a valuable platform for executives from diverse sectors, including government, corporations, and public enterprises. It equips them with the latest business theories and techniques, while fostering extensive networking opportunities.
In attendance were Prof. Sang Yong Kim, the Dean of Korea University Business School, Prof. Seokkyun Kim, the academic director of AMP, and Mr. Dong Seok Lee, the President of the AMP Alumni Association. Together, they celebrated the induction of 50 new members into the KUBS’s community as the 96th AMP cohort.
Dean Sang Yong Kim emphasized, “In the era of Covid-19, leaders must proactively respond to the demands of a diversified society and exhibit high resilience to overcome a myriad of challenges." He added, "I have no doubt that each one of you, as the AMP’s 96th cohort, will emerge as genuine leaders of your time upon the successful completion of this program."
Mr. Dong Seok Lee, the President of the AMP Alumni Association, expressed, "Completing the AMP program at Korea University Business School is undeniably one of the best decisions I have made in my life." He continued, “Despite the challenges of balancing work and studies, I encourage you to treasure the connections and memories you will create with your fellow peers.”
The entrance ceremony culminated with the singing of the school song and a photo session. To cap off the day, the 96th batch embarked on a campus tour led by KUBE, Student Ambassadors of KUBS. During the tour, they explored three of KUBS’s buildings, brimming with excitement as they began this new chapter.
