Orientation for Freshmen of Graduate School in Fall 2023... a New Start as Researchers 

Korea University Business School(Dean=Sang Yong Kim) hosted an orientation for freshmen of the Graduate School on Friday, August 11th, at 14:00. New students had the opportunity to gather essential information about campus life through a combination of online and offline resources. The event commenced with Professor Woochan Kim, the head of the Department of Business Administration in the Graduate School, introducing the KUBS faculty and outlining the organizational structure. Subsequently, an in-depth orientation took place, which included an introduction to the department staff responsible for various tasks. 

The orientation encompassed several key topics, including: a curriculum guide featuring new courses, an introduction to thesis submission requirements for each major, academic information, course registration procedures, guidance on designated courses led by academic directors, credit transfer details, and information about domestic credit exchange. 

Furthermore, the orientation covered additional topics such as: changes to individual academic information changes, application and change for an academic director, scholarship and research grant information, BK21, math camp, and database. The orientation concluded with important announcements that included school homepages and portal information, Research Management System, instructions for securing a research room and locker, and student ID card. 

After this comprehensive orientation, new students were divided into major-specific sessions, which were conducted both online and offline.
