Completion Ceremony of the 89th Advanced Management Program (AMP) Held

 

The 89th completion ceremony of the Korea University Business School’s Advanced Management Program (AMP) was held at the Supex Hall of LG-POSCO Building on October 26th (Monday).

 

The 89th completion ceremony of the Korea University Business School’s (Dean = Bae, Johngseok) Advanced Management Program (hereinafter AMP) was held at the Supex Hall of LG-POSCO Building on October 26th (Monday). 40prospective graduates attended this event while wearing masks and sitting at a distance due to the COVID-19.

In order to celebrate the completion of the 89th class, former Associate Dean for MBA Weon Sang Yoo, AMP Association President Kim Moon-chan, AMP Chair Professor Bokyung Bae and other AMP Alumni Association executives also attended the meeting.

"This 89th class overpassed strict selection criteria, completed the program for six months, and was fiercer and brighter than anyone else in this difficult circumstance due to the COVID-19," said Dr. Yoo Weon Sang Yoo (former Associate Dean for MBA). He finished his completion ceremony speech by adding, "I would like to applaud everyone who worked hard and bore the fruit of today." "From now on, I hope you will interact as a new member of the alumni association and give consistent interest and support to the school."

AMP Alumni Association President Kim Moon-chan said through his congratulatory speech, "Today is not the end but is another beginning, I hope you will actively continue your alumni association activities in the future with the ‘Korea University spirit’ of Libertas, Justitia, Veritas."

AMP Chair Professor Bokyung Bae said, "We are living in an era when it has become important to see what innovation creates new values under uncertainty" and added, "This class withstood the unprecedented situation of COVID- 19, and I am relieved from sorrow of the completion ceremony with the anticipation towards the future of our 89th class."

The certificate of completion, the plaque of honor, and the achievement plaque of alumni association followed. Winners were awarded in various categories, including the Dean’s Award, the Achievement Award, and the Exemplary Performance Award. The event ended with singing the school song, throwing the graduation cap and taking commemorative photos.

 

Meanwhile, Korea University Business School's AMP program, which was founded in 1975 for the first time in Korea and has a 45-year-old tradition, boasts a strong network of renowned alumni in each field.
