The homecoming day for KUBS Graduates, Class of 1994, was held at 7:30 pm on August 20 at LG-POSCO Building. The homecoming day was a special event organized by Dean Jae Wook Kim to encourage alumni members preparing the KUBS Alumni Night event. Attending the event were Dean Jae Wook Kim, Professor Joong Hyuk Kim, Professor Baeho Kim, Secretary-General Sung-ho Oh, and KUBS graduates including Chang-kyu Choi, Gil-sang Choi with 20 other classmates.
"The reason I brought you today is that I wish you have a good time with your alumni, not only to talk about the event, but also to renew each other's friendship," Kim said in a welcoming speech.
“KUBS is the first of its kind in the country to hold an alumni night for nearly 40 years, and through this event, graduates are delivering an average of 100 million won worth of scholarships for KUBS students, said Sung-ho Oh, Secretary-General of KUBS. "It's all thanks to the support of our KUBS alumni, and I hope this evening will be a successful one as well."
The Class of 1994 also responded. First of all, Jae-hak Jeong expressed his feeling to visit his alma mater. "Thank you for inviting me to this special occasion," said Jeong. "I will ask for advice from my seniors in the Class of 1993 and work with them to prepare for this year's alumni night."
"After graduation, I started to feel the importance of my alma mater, which I didn't know when I was in school," said Sang-mi Lee, Class of 1994. "I hope everyone has a good time today." After the introduction, the participants gathered together to take group photos, enjoy dinner and promote friendship.
