The Best English Thesis Award for the first semester of the year, hosted by the Department of Business Administration and International Management at Korea University Graduate School, was held at 2 p.m. on August 9 at the Associate Dean's office at the KUBS Main Hall. Kim Baeho, Associate Dean for Research, and four winners attended the award ceremony. The selection committee selected the best papers after screening the recommended papers from five majors: marketing, international management, management, LSOM, and finance. The winners included Yoon Seok-chae (Marketing Master's Program), Kim Ki-Hyun (Ph.D. in International Management), Park Sang-beom (Ph.D. in Management), Lee Sang-jun (Ph.D. in LSOM), and Lee Woong-ki (Finance M.A and Ph.D. Integration Program), each with 300,000 won in scholarship.

Vice President Kim Baeho congratulated the winners by delivering the prize. Kim said, "It is very meaningful to receive an award for a dissertation that you put so much effort in," and delivered a congratulatory message saying, "I sincerely congratulate you on winning the award."
