The huge donations collected during these events are being used to attract high-school graduates with excellent grades, grant scholarships to current students and provide congratulatory allowances to students who pass the national civil service examination. The fund is also spent to award and encourage the research activities of professors who publish exceptional papers.

Professor Hasung Jang, Dean of KUBS said “KUBS is showing excellent results in school evaluations at home and abroad. This would not have been possible without the full support the alumni have shown us in developing our Alma mater. He added, “We will strengthen our key capabilities; faculty, students, programs, facilities etc, so that we can become one of the world’s top 50 schools by 2015.”

After a toast and dinner, the alumni cheered and joined together in wishing for the continued development of KUBS. The evening ended with everyone singing the University anthem and slogan.
