Business school with most number of CEOs

According to the 2008 White Paper on the CEOs at Top 100 Companies, KUBS has produced the highest number of CEOs. The freshly published survey report says 14 out of total 175 CEOs were graduates of KUBS, rating the school as top among all departments of universities in Korea. Seoul National University Business School and Yonsei School of Business followed with 10 CEOs and 8 CEOs respectively. KUBS was ranked top in the same survey in 2006 (12 CEOs) and 2007 (13 CEOs) and this year another CEO was added to the KUBS graduate CEO list making it total fourteen.
 
Those fourteen KUBS graduate CEOs are: Vice Chairman & CEO of LS Cable, Chayol Koo (1972), President of E1, Jayong Koo (1973), CEo of GS E&Cm, Kab-Ryul Kim (1967), President & CEO of Kumho Tires, Byung-Seup Kim (1973), CEO of Samsung SDS, In Kim (1968), CEO of Doosan Corporation, Tae-Hee Lee (1971), CEO & Vice Chairman of Taihan Electric Wire, Chong-Wook Lim (1968), Chairman and CEO of Hyundai Development Company E&C, Mong-Gyu Chung (1980) , CEO of KCC, Mong-Ik Chung (1980), Chairman of KCC, Mong-Jin Chung (1979), Chairman of Hanjin Heavy Industries and Construction, Nam-Ho Cho (1969), Vice President of Doosan Construction and Engineering, Hee-Soo Chae (1969), President of Business Management Support of Dong-bu Steel, Joo-Wook Chun (1968) and Chairman of GS E&C, Chang-Soo Huh (1967).
 
Since 1994, The New Management monthly has been releasing results of their survey on CEOs at top 100 companies every year. In the 2008 survey, company selection was based on their revenue in 2007 fiscal year. Finance/insurance firms and government owned companies were excluded.
 
Earlier in April, the Munhwa Daily conducted a survey called ‘Power Elite 500’ which looked at power elites leading businesses and associations in the economic sector. KUBS as a college ranked #1, accounting for 10 of the 80 power elites.
