"A Five-Day Journey" … ESADE International Study Tour in KUBS Successfully Concluded

The Executive Education Center (Director: Seokkyun Kim) of the Graduate School of Business Administration at Korea University Business School (KUBS) (Dean: Eonsoo Kim) hosted the 2025 ESADE International Study Tour: Digital Transformation & Business Analytics in Asia (hereafter "the program") in collaboration with ESADE Business School (hereafter "ESADE") from January 6 to 10.

ESADE, affiliated with Ramon Llull University in Barcelona, Spain, is one of the country’s top business schools alongside IESE and IE. As a member of the CEMS Global Alliance in Management Education, ESADE actively collaborates with over 100 academic institutions worldwide. CEMS membership is limited to the most prestigious business schools in each country, including KUBS, Cornell SC Johnson College of Business (USA), The London School of Economics and Political Science (UK), and HEC Paris (France), among a total of 33 institutions.

A total of 52 participants visited the Graduate School of Business, including 50 Master of Science students from ESADE, along with two faculty and staff members.

Throughout their stay, ESADE students attended six Digital Transformation lectures held in Room 303 of the Hyundai Motor Hall. Beyond academics, the students also explored Korean businesses and culture. They visited two leading domestic companies, Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang and Amorepacific, and toured the National Museum of Korea, where they enjoyed a docent-guided exhibition of cultural artifacts. Reflecting on the visit, one student remarked, "The scale of Korea’s national museum was impressive, and the advanced development of Korean companies left a lasting impression."

On the final day, a farewell dinner was held at a traditional Korean restaurant in Anam-dong to mark the conclusion of the program. The dinner was attended by Associate Dean Byung Cho Kim, Professor Kyuhong Han, and Professor Jeunghyun Kim. Associate Dean Byung Cho Kim shared farewell remarks, stating, "I hope this program has been a meaningful experience for all students."
