"Next-Generation Global Leaders Take Their First Step" – Graduation Ceremony of the CGLP First Cohort

The graduation ceremony for the first cohort of the Crimson Global Leader Program (CGLP) at Korea University Business School (Dean: Sang Yong Kim) was held on August 23rd in Young-Il Ahn Hall at LP-POSCO Hall. The ceremony was attended by Korea University President Dong-One Kim, Korea University Business School Dean Sang Yong Kim, Associate Dean Janghyuk Lee, CGLP academic directors Jaiho Chung and Joonghyuk Kim, teaching faculty, and the graduates.

The ceremony began with a video summarizing the past year's activities. The first group of CGLP participants was selected in September 2023, and the program ran for one year. The CGLP features a unique three-stage process—exploration, deepening, and integration—supported by a dedicated team of three academic directors.

President Dong-One Kim remarked, “Korea University has been a pioneer, being among the first in the country to establish an MBA program. The CGLP is also a newly established special course designed to help the next generation of global leaders embody the tradition and spirit of Korea University.” Dean Sang Yong Kim added, “I extend my respect to those who have completed this one-year program with a passion for learning and a commitment to growth. I hope you will continue to develop and become proud alumni of the CGLP, building on the management theories and experiences you've gained here.”

On behalf of the eight graduates, Ms. Eunsoo Kang, President of the CGLP Class of 1st Alumni Association, expressed her gratitude: “I would like to thank the faculty and academic directors for their efforts in creating the CGLP course and providing an excellent educational environment. Although the time was short, I will strive to grow into a next-generation global leader based on the knowledge and experiences gained here."
