Spring 2023 Best English Thesis Awards

On August 21, Korea University Business School (Dean=Sang Yong Kim) celebrated the Spring Semester 2023 Best English Thesis Award at the Dean’s office. This award is presented every semester to encourage MS/PhD students to produce exceptional papers in English and to acknowledge their dedication and academic excellence. Dean Sang Yong Kim and Former Associate Dean Woochan Kim extended their congratulations to the students. 

For the spring semester 2023, a total of six MS/PhD students received the Best English Thesis Award: 

△Kyunghyun Kim (Area: Finance, Academic Advisor: Hyun Seung Na) : Three Essays on Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Governance 

 
△ Neri Min (Area: International Business, Academic Advisor: Chris Changwha Chung) : “Villains” are not bad, they are just real: Real options and prospect theory perspective towards CSR decoupling and recoupling 

 
△ Jeong Seung Park (Area: Marketing, Academic Advisor: Jaehwan Kim) : Identifying the Popularity Effect of a Star Player on Sports Attendance Demand: Evidence from the Korea Baseball Organization Data
